Just a little bit about yourself?
I am 5 foot 11, brown hair, blue eyes. I enjoy weight lifting, running and martial arts. I am currently in to playing tennis at the moment when at the office "working".

How did you get interested in coding?
When i first got on the internet i was really scared of getting a virus or getting hacked. So i researched loads about hacking. I also always wanted to know how .exe files were made! Through the research i found out about programming and then found that one of the students at the Tae Kwon Do club i went to was a programmer! I asked her how to get started and she pointed me in the direction of Visual Basic and the SAMS Teach Yourself books... it took off from there!

What do you least enjoy about coding?
The foundations of any language get a little tedious such as if, if else, switch, querying the database, etc.

What do you enjoy most about coding?
The freedom it gives you! Instead of looking for a program that suit your needs... make it! I like the challenge as well since some programs and algorithms are not easy to think of.
I also like it when people use the work i have done as it gives me a nice feeling that my work is appreciated.

Do you write code as a hobby, or because you have to for work?
Both! I enjoy coding in my free time because there is not as much pressure and i can take my time to get it perfect (or as near to). When i am at work i always have deadlines and much more pressure.

How did you learn how to write code?
SAMS Teach Yourself books along with the internet. Since my primary language these days is PHP the php.net website is a very useful resource!

Anything else you want to mention?
Yeah. I applied at University to do Computer Science, i got accepted (2nd best university in Britain for employment rates and is the best in the whole of Yorkshire), but i declined at the last minute! Reason i declined is because i decided to start up my own web business.
