| Haskell happens to be my favorite programming language. Perl falls in quickly as second, and Perl 6 is going to be insanely awesome.
I should note there're about 900,000 (roughly) other languages I've used over the past couple years. The ones above are simply a subset chosen on the basis that I like them and have done something at least half-ass interesting with them. |

I am 17 and a computer programmer. I typically like to read interesting books (or simply experience a 'true story' in whatever form,) hang with friends and... program?

How did you get interested in coding?
Boredom.

What do you least enjoy about coding?
Debugging. Luckily I have a type system (*snicker*)

What do you enjoy most about coding?
The part that involves writing code.

Do you write code as a hobby, or because you have to for work?
Hobby.

How did you learn how to write code?
Self taught + internet resources.

Do you have a speciality in a specific area of coding, if so please explain?
I am particularly interested in compiler theory (although have made very little movement in this area.) I find compilers themselves fascinating as well as their design and theories behind them.
I also dream of the days of being a game programmer in which I can exercise creativity and hopefully get to blow stuff up semi-regularly.
