Just a little bit about yourself?
My name's Craige Leeder and I'm a programmer/web developer. I have been programming for 4 years now, and currently work for/on 3 sites.
I am also in the midst of starting up a software company, Neo Enterprise Technologies, with my good friend Erwin (Zendra). We came up with the idea one night on AIM, and decided to run with it.
|
How did you get interested in coding?
Four years ago, I made a silly 'noob' post on Newgrounds' programming forum. As stupid as it was to ask "How do I program", 1 man came to my aid. Dan Lindsey (Pilot-Doofy) took me under his wing and taught me much. From him, I acquired much of my PHP knowledge.
After only a few months of programming, Dan decided it was time to recode his site, MustyWindows.com, and wanted me to assist him. Admitidly, I didn't know enough to code a site well, but it was a great learning experience for me. It was like giving my brain a shot of adrenaline and letting it go wild.
|
What do you least enjoy about coding?
Sometimes I hate designing code, other times, I hate debugging it. It really depends. I have come across some bugs that would make you cock your head to one side and say "What the fuck? How did you manage that?". Obviously, at those times I hate debugging.
|
What do you enjoy most about coding?
I like being able to create something from nothing. It's a generic answer, I know, but it's true. I like being able to, given a text editor and a web browser, create fully functional, professional web sites.
The same goes for application programming as well.
|
Do you write code as a hobby, or because you have to for work?
It's kind of a mixed answer. While I have been coding, in the past, all of the websites I work for as a hobby, now that I'm getting older, I write them hoping they will succeed. I hope they can one day soon turn into my job.
As well, any code I write for Neo Enterprise Techonlogies will be as if I am writing it for a job. I have no guarantee that it will one day be my job, but I hope so regardless.

How did you learn how to write code?
See question 2: How did you get interested in coding
|
Do you have a speciality in a specific area of coding, if so please explain?
Web development is by far, my area of expertise.
|
Anything else you want to mention?
I don't think so. If there is anything else you want to know about me, you can PM, AIM, or MSN me. Email's an option too, I guess.

I loved Cuba. The resorts are awesome. I could really use a vacation right now!
Well if you're flying through Toronto, you'll most likely be flying through pearson airport.
|
|
For sure!
Oh and say goodbye to a concept of drinking age when you're down there
Who are you going with?
|
|
Wow that's pretty cool!
Oh and if their is a drinking age, no one at the resort cares. I openly requested alcohol and they didn't even give it a second thought. and this was a couple years ago too. I'm quite sure that you won't get arrested.
