How long have you been coding for?
Well. I have been coding for atleast a year. Well. When 'I' say coding. I started with a very basic language. Visual Basic 6, I then moved onto C++. Not too long ago i also stopped that and have moved onto Web Development. Or trying. PHP, And VB6. Are my two main languages at the moment. The only reason i took up VB6 is because i had to do some small projects, and found it easier to do them in VB6, So i have it still installed incase i need it again. PHP because like i said, Web Dev...
So i have only really been properly coding for about 4 months.
What is your favorite coding language and why?
Well. At the moment i would really say PHP. I love the syntax and it is nice and easy to learn. Even though it is Server Sided, that does not fuss me. As you can still do quite a bit with it.
What got you interested in coding?
What got me into coding? Well i would have to say. Seeing other people coding. It inspired me into wanting to be the same. So i asked around for a simple language and got told to learn Visual Basic 6 for a starting language. So i did. Ever since then i moved up. And haven't really stopped learning since then.
What is your least favorite language and why?
VB.Net. As VB6 can do just the same. And VB.Net requires the .Net Framework.
What do you enjoy most about coding?
The most i like about coding is when you have got a new idea. A idea that at first you think, No. What is the point in that. But as you gradually think about it more. You build on your idea. And start to code. I must say too. I also love it when you have then finished that project.
How did you learn to code?
First i started by buying a few books. But then i realised i was just wasting my money. So i then decided just to look it up on the internet.
How old were you when you started to code?
Not too long ago actually. I was about late 12.
What do you think makes a good coder?
Someone who has a feel for the language. Someone who doesn't get fustrated over a language. And someone that doesn't give up over one error the recieve.
What are you most proud of coding?
Well i won't name one thing. But i will say what i am proud of making. I am always proud when i code something new. In a new language. A language i have just learnt. And i get straight to the coding point.
