For sure. If you ask me, PHP is a bad language. Javascript on the other hand is actually really good.
It depends on what you want to get into. If you want to do web programming, then you should probably learn PHP. If you want to do desktop programming, forget php and learn something like C# or Ruby.
Well. I've been programming for about four years though. It just takes time.
And once you learn a couple languages, learning another one becomes easy. It's just a matter of learning new syntax. People who know a lot of languages can often pick up a new one in about a week.
There's still a great deal to come and within the next few months you will start seeing new sections added such as picture albums, challenges, web directories, blogs, and a lot more... 12 in total :-)
