'lastIndexOf()' Syntax, Parameters and Note

Search for the specified string, and return the final character position. 

If no match is found, it returns -1.

    

Syntax:

    

stringName.lastIndexOf(param1, param2)



Parameters:

    param1   Required; the string to search for.

    param2   Optional; the position to start the search.
