Q: What is happening to SlideShare?

 

A: LinkedIn acquired SlideShare’s technology, customer relationships and website. In addition, SlideShare employees will be joining LinkedIn as employees.

 

Q: What happens to my SlideShare presentations, account and data?

A. There will be no change.  All presentations will continue to be served on the website.  User account and data will be continually managed and maintained under SlideShare’s existing Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can view this by visiting www.slideshare.net/terms  

 

Q: How will SlideShare services be maintained going forward?

A: The current SlideShare service will operate as-is.  Over time, we will explore various ways to integrate SlideShare’s functionality into our broader LinkedIn offerings.

 

Q: Will SlideShare users need to become LinkedIn members to continue using the service?

A: SlideShare’s registered users will continue using their registration credentials to log into their accounts.  LinkedIn will operate SlideShare as an independently operated entity.

 

Q. I’m currently a SlideShare PRO user, how will this acquisition impact my subscription service?

A. For now, all subscription packages will remain the same without any changes to price/features.   

 

Q.  Can I delete my SlideShare account?
