MediaWiki is an open source effort that relies on many different types of contributions from many different people. If you find MediaWiki useful, please consider helping in one or more of the following ways.

Improve MediaWiki's documentation

• If you are familiar with a MediaWiki feature, improve its documentation on this wiki! Take screenshots, provide examples, etc.
• Help out on maintenance tasks for this wiki.

Translate

• Translate content on this wiki. See Project:Translation, or just go to the translator dashboard and start translating (tutorial)!
• Help maintain interface ("system messages") translations. These are enormously useful. See translatewiki.net.

Report and manage bugs

• Help sort and provide feedback on bugs
• Report bugs! If something doesn't work as it should, don't just ignore it – make sure it's reported.
• Report fixes! If you encounter a problem and figure out how to fix it, share the information on this wiki or on a mailing list. This is especially useful for installation and upgrading problems.
