I've known some for a long time, such as Singleton, Factory, Registry, etc. I
just bought the Design Patterns book a couple weeks ago though. I'd be done it
already if I had the time.

Anyway, design patterns are very useful. When you learn them, you're just
learning industry wide solutions to common problems. The solutions have been proven
which means if you use them for their intended purpose, they'll do exactly what
they are meant to.

What do you think to design patterns then?

Kind regards,

Well yes, pretty much.
There is also another command, if i remember correctly. jne. This meaning jump if
not equal.
That may be a bit easier to understand : )

Enjoy...

I thought i would reply here so you got what you were looking for.
This is reply to my Count to 1 million in assembly.

I will give a brief explanation.

CntLoop: <- this simply starts the loop.

inc eax <- inc means increment by 1. So we are adding 1 to eax each time.

cmp eax, ebx <- cmp means compare. compare eax to ebx. ebx contains the number
1000000

jl CntLoop <- now obviously. this only comes into action when eax is not equal
to ebx (1million). so it jumps back to the start of the loop to increment eax by 1
again. eventually reaching the 1mill mark and then showing you the messagebox.

Hope this sorta helped you mate.

I never really used that part of the site actually, but posting in the topic today
brought it up. I also subscribed to your feed. Do you have the feeds divided by
network or anything?
