Interact by posting and reading messages about topics that are of interest to you and the rest of the community. Get help from the SQL Server developer community and Microsoft experts, too. Both MSDN and TechNet offer forums specifically for SQL Server developers, where technical and troubleshooting information is shared and questions and answers are posted. You can read the forums without registering, but to be able to post questions, receive notifications for replies, and fully interact with other forum users, you must register.

MSDN offers information and support specifically for software developers. The SQL Server Developer Center on MSDN provides a library of technical information; multiple learning resources, including virtual labs, videos, and certification programs; the latest downloads and updates; an easily searchable knowledge base; community forums, blogs, wikis, and newsgroups; and other interactive community support, including Channel 9, which offers video interviews, screencasts, podcasts, and its own wiki. As you can see, MSDN offers help from the SQL Server developer community and Microsoft experts, too.

If your organization has a Premier Support contract, you can open an incident and receive support from Microsoft Services Premier Support technical support staff. With your Premier Support contract, you have direct access to SQL Server experts and Microsoft support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
