@Supernam07 Spokespersons do not need to be size zero models...they can be real people with normal weight. She is beautiful just as she is. Meanness, on the other hand, is not beautiful.

That's pretty much been known for some time. But the 100% truth on this is that her name is Melinda. As a young child, she pronounced the l in her name as w, so she got the nickname Wenda. The founder Dave Thomas named the chain after her deciding to go with the more understandable Wendy.
It's thoughtful for her to name this new item after her father. What a way to give back. And come out of hiding. :-)
