ThinkGrid’s acquisition by Colt is an important step ahead for the company and our desired position in the cloud market. With cloud computing continuing to be one of the most hyped subjects in IT and the consumerization of IT being the single most influential technology trend of this decade; this venture will bring us and our partners closer to tackling market opportunities.

Our market approach is based on a three-fold proposition to the Channel: Platform, Services and Enablement.

• Our Platform is a turnkey solution that allows Partners to create, bill and manage IT services from the cloud in real-time from a single pane of glass. With enhanced resources and expertise from Colt, we will be able to further develop the Platform and its functionality to best serve our Partners and their customers’ needs.
• Our Cloud Services portfolio including Hosted Virtual Desktops, Virtual Servers, Unified Communications will complement Colt’s current offering, ensuring the Channel will have access to a complete portfolio of services they can tailor to meet the needs of their customers. Colt’s large infrastructure of over 20 datacentres, their high speed network and extensive market presence presents a great opportunity for ThinkGrid and our Partners to expand our reach and deliver high-class cloud services to SMEs.
• Partner Enablement is centred on a close relationship with our Partners and providing them with the necessary technical and commercial support to build tailored cloud solutions for the SME market. We provide tools, market development funding and expertise to find traction for our partners and immediate revenue streams. We are excited to work with Colt’s distribution network, leveraging their impressive and established IT and network assets and strong partner community across Europe. We hope to bring value by sharing and building on our expertise of building and delivering public and private cloud solutions.
