Colt wins at Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards 2011

A big congratulations is due to the Solutions teams in the UK and Spain, partnered with Ipanema Technologies, who were the winners of the Business Service Innovation category at the Global Telecoms Business Innovation Awards held on the 7th of June in London.

The team delivered their award-winning project for recruitment specialist Michael Page. They were using an out-dated private network to service twelve sites across Spain, Portugal, Italy and Turkey. Colt proposed a combination of Managed Services and IP Virtual Private Network, glued together by the AAN (Application Aware Networking) services based on Ipanema technology. This solution provided  Michael Page with a single provider able to manage the solution end-to-end on cutting-edge technology.

With an implementation time of less than eight months, this is a great example of innovation, considered resourcing and smart thinking. A heartily deserved congrats for an award winning project – well done to all involved!
