I will never ever use google adwords again! I also do not trust google one bit anymore after experiencing the deceitful way they do business through adwords and the fact they hide what they are really charging you for example giving the impression they are charging you £50 when if you check your billing they are charging you a lot more behind your back - it's just not clear what they are charging you until you get the bill! As well as saying you are getting clicks when in fact, there are no extra page hits to your landing page! I'm sure that is to be considered "fraud"? Think i will turn to buysellads next time around. Deleted my adwords account. And since i have now got a job :) i'll be saying hello to buysellads instead i think in the near future.

On a role creating this stumble feed - nearly 1000 sloc written and it's not to far off being completed.
Just got to add a "new items" count to the notification bar, find some more feeds to include in it, add a few "views" (since showing you arrays might suck a little), create a few new rss feeds around this site so they can be included and allow you to select filters (source, type and language) so you can customise what you want in the feed. Most of the hard work is now done, just a case of creating the right views.
Aiming to upload it monday.

I've been away for a couple of days. I had some personal matters to attend. Plus, my wireless USB adapter stopped working. So, I had to order another one. My new wireless adapter is working beautifully! You'll see more interaction from me now that has been resolved.

Tonight,
I turned my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS desktop into a development web server. I installed Apache2, PHP, MySQL 5, and phpMyAdmin. After that, I installed the RVM (Ruby Version Manger) with the newest version of Ruby and Gems. Using Gems, I installed the latest version of Rails. Using Rails, I setup a new Rails application in my /var/www folder.
Right now, my development server can support web applications written in PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby. It has support for frameworks like CakePHP and Ruby On Rails. This is exciting, because I've never had a development server that had such a wide range of support!
Later, I'm setting up a local Subversion server for my PHP, Perl, and Python projects. I'll either use GIT or the internal version control that comes with the RVM for Ruby development to help keep track of developing my Ruby application. Finally, I'll configure an SFTP server on my development machine so that I can connect to and work on my development projects from another location.

Rewrote my Heys Cipher cracker to use all 8 of the CPUs on my i7 and it runs much faster now. Woo! I'm glad this problem is easy to do concurrently. Presumably using more than 8 threads won't help any more for a task like this though.

I can prepare an Avocado faster than my program can brute force 2^16 keys of a Heys Cipher

Has anyone here ever found a good use for co-routines? I'm learning about them now, but I can't really see when I would choose to use them instead of a more traditional solution.
