Image encryption in SQL Server 2005

I would like to have image fields encrypted, but my programmer hasn't been able to do it. I understand SQL Server 2005 has a greater capability in this regard. Is encrypting image fields (some holding large amounts of data) doable?

SQL Server 2005's encryption features. In the meantime, you may still be able to find a solution for SQL Server 2000. Michael Coles recently posted an article on implementation of the Blowfish algorithm in an extended stored procedure for SQL Server 2000 encryption. The article should help you get going now, instead of waiting for SQL Server 2005.
