Game Development Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional and independent game developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I hope it doesn't really sound odd as this questions is for Game-development for Android Devices for absolute beginers. The reason for me asking is currently I am learning the Native App Development and it's really a very long process but is the best for a performance-based app, but the reason is for some games kind of apps HTML5 canvas is a very cool thing, but recently the JQueryMobile has a very good UI with a less amount of coding and my question lies for that as in "Is there any way that we can build Games using JQueryMobile"?

If not please suggest the best opensource solution as a supplement, which can aid in kick starting my game development with simple animations, so that I can implement a simple board game involving die rolls.

CocoonJS I would say has the closest thing you would need, but since you're rather new to the industry and trying to create something simple - why not use a tool like Construct2 ? Both are related as Cosntruct2 uses CocoonJS to deploy applications to Android and iOS and Construct2 by itself will be perfect for your basic needs.
