I just want to know are object-oriented databases and XML databases two separate databases or is the XML database incorporated into the object-orientated database?

Hi John, I'm sorry it's a bit hard to understand exactly what you're asking. Object-oriented things and XML are orthogonal from a theoretical perspective (XML is just a data representation format, object-orientation is design concept. – Mat Apr 14 at 10:59
