First of all Im a web developer with no experience of any open source frameworks.

We currently maintaining a website which build from home-grown way of e-commerce and Im the one also building this website from the scratch basing on no-framework at all. Currently the website is the 4th revision ( due to to features and improvements ). Another issues pops-up when we update somewhere on the website and this website is a live one. Our boss noticed this one already, and suggesting that maybe we can go to some web seminars/trainings/conferences hoping that we can grasp something that avoid the arising problems and improve website further steps ahead.

  • One of the future features of our website will be the mobilization.

Questions:

  1. Do i need to use framework already? if yes what framework will be the best to be put on?

  2. I believed that our current problems is on the structuring/approaches in solving the problems.

  3. Do you have some known seminars/training/conferences/groups that you might thinks educate us to learn further?

  4. Maybe its time for us to get involved in some greater and expert individuals especially on our field interest, e-commerce development, What you do think?
