I am an Admin - if you want help I'll do what I can, if you are a disruptive you will almost certainly be blocked without warning. I also tend to delete things quite quickly, if you disagree with me I will listen to you and try and reach a solution.

As everyone does, I have my prejudices - I really rather dislike those who disrupt Commons and people using Foundation wikis to promote themselves or other websites comes a close second. Most other things don't bother me too much.

I have a major failing - I'm human, I make mistakes, with nearly 40k edits and over 60k admin actions here I am bound to get it wrong sometimes. When you think I have, point it out to me and we will sort it out.

I've uploaded 492 pics so far in my time here.

Images & notes

Hum - the "new camera" that was referred to here is over two years old (!) and has just been replaced with a newer one so images taken after this edit will probably be from the new camera. I tend to upload less than full res pictures and the main reason for this it that I am on a "capped" broadband connection which limits the amount I can use the internet in a month. If anyone wants a higher resolution image (or is interested in whether I have other similar images - I rarely take just one now!) they are welcome to contact me. Users may contact me by email here or ask on my talk page. A new "new" camera is in use from late 2012 as well as the Nikon - see below.

A while ago I took a digital photography course. I know a bit more than I did and, hopefully, have rather more skills with editing images. I've tended to take & upload "encyclopædic" images for a while however the course has me thinking about my photography in rather different ways. My photo blog now has over 700 images on it and is updated as and when I get the time. Some may make it, or have made it, to Commons and some that maybe will not. Flickr may have the odd non Commons type image on although I tend not to use Flickr much these days.
