How to set up DFP SOAP in Google App Scripts

Trying to create a dashboard that will allow users to check available and used impressions from DFP, want to filter those impressions by a criteria the user defines. I have no idea where to start. I love how I have google analytics API in a apps script and I can pull all my data in a google spreadsheet. Just wish setting the DFP API was that easy. If anyone could help with getting a script started, mainly need help setting up the SOAP calls so all would be next would be actually setting up the DFP api. Any help is greatly appreciated!
