I have a Google account which I registered with the email [email protected].
I also have a Stackoverflow account to which I used to sign on using my Google account.
Then I signed up for gmail which changed the primary email Address of my Google account from [email protected] to [email protected]. [email protected] is still listed as alternative email address.
Now when I try to sign on to Stackoverflow with my Google account I get the following message:
This login is new to Stack Exchange:
Google ([email protected])
My guess is that I cannot sign in because the primary email address changed. But after researching the problem I'm more confused than before.
I would be really grateful for any help.
