Hi There,
One user wants to work on Excel reports for a particular team project and he is using VS2010 as client tool to connect TFS2010.
We already provided him the project admin rights and also added his group in TFS-analysis database in the roles category as a data-warehouse reader. He was able to connect to TFS but not able to perform excel reports.
The user is getting the following Error
"Errors in the OLE DB provider.Could not connect to the redirector.Ensure that the SQLBrowser service is running on the 'server name" server"
I have checked in the server and SQL browser is running fine.Only that users is facing the error i have checked with others in his team with same level access and they were able to access that excel reports.
FYI:iam also connecting TFS2010 from VS2010 and i could be able to generate that excel reports
Pls provide your suggestions what might be the reason ..that user was unable to perform the Excel reports?

Hi Srinivas7,
Thanks for your post!
I recommend you install TFS Power Tools and run a Team Foundation Server Complete Health Check, and see if it helps.

Hi Cathy,
The issue was resolved.
The problem is because of port issue.
The user is able to access everything except Excel reports.Later we have enabled the analysis server into our Network. With this the issue was resolved.
