Is it possible to prioritize files to transfer using Google Drive, or with one of its competitors such as AeroFS or Dropbox? I'd like to be able to choose which files and folders to synchonize first, so that each of the files and folders are synchronized in a specific order.

Google Drive does not currently have this feature, but Sugarsync has a feature where you can select certain files to be high priority and uploaded before others. At times, it is not as convenient as it should be, but it does work.

Put simply, no. It has been asked a few times on the Google Product Forums but no word yet on whether it will be introduced as a feature.

Get answers to practical, detailed questions
Focus on questions about an actual problem you have faced. Include details about what you have tried and exactly what you are trying to do.
Ask about...
- Using a website which behaves like an application
- Bookmarklets
- Browsers and their features relating to the use of a web application (Greasemonkey scripts for a web application, etc.)
Not all questions work well in our format. Avoid questions that are primarily opinion-based, or that are likely to generate discussion rather than answers.
Questions that need improvement may be closed until someone fixes them.
Don't ask about...
- Anything not directly related to web applications
- Questions that are primarily opinion-based
- Questions with too many possible answers or that would require an extremely long answer
- Questions that are Web App recommendations unless prior research is shown
- Hosted scripts such as Wordpress.org and phpBB
- Trello feature requests and bug reports
Improve posts by editing or commenting
Our goal is to have the best answers to every question, so if you see questions or answers that can be improved, you can edit them.
Use edits to fix mistakes, improve formatting, or clarify the meaning of a post.
