I'm working on a networking app and I need to register a domain name. The .com and all other well known domain extension of my apps name are taken.
Should I go with ExampleApp.com or some other tld such as example.at or example.ws?

Thank you.

Tom so you know, while it's fancy to use different TLD's Google will look at them as being specific to that country while .com is universal / global. So be careful what you choose, if you're app will be used globally use a TLD that's viewed as global by Google. – Anagio Oct 18 '12 at 21:32
