Wanting to learn to program, is c# / XNA a good language to start off with? (for game development in the future).

Sorry James, where to get started and which technology to use are off topic for the site. That being said, C# is just as good as any other language and there's plenty of resources for learning it. – Byte56 Jul 19 '12 at 4:04
