Hello All - I've got the following issue:
We have an external provider cleaning email for spam / virus etc (Cleanmail.ch)
We've migrated all users from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 but the external mail flow was still going via the Exchange 2003 to 2010.
Yesterday we migrated the mailflow to the new TMG servers (installed with MFP 2010).
Inbound email is generally ok, but we're getting bounce backs from certain emails:
- Cleanmail tried to deliver this message to the target server but it didn't work out. The message has been bounced back to the sender.
- This is the error message Cleanmail got while delivering the message to the target server:
host mx.******.com[46.140.***.***] said: 550 5.7.1 Message rejected due to content restrictions (in reply to end of DATA command)
Cleanmail allowed the message to be sent (no virus / not spam) etc, but rejected on the TMG side.
From the TMG in the Dashboard I can see in the Transport Spam Blocking Summary that a total of 179 messages have been blocked (SMTP -> 173 and Content 6), but from within the Incidents and Quarantine views there is nothing reported.
The question is, how do I go about getting information about why some of these messages are getting rejected by the MFP2010 when I can't see from the console what has been rejected?
What is the best option - to whitelist any emails which are bouncing - is there anyway to work out why these messages are rejected?
Regards
Simon
