I want to create a blog-like website. At the begining I'll need a simple one person blog software, but in the future I'd like to have full access to the code and database (control the way posts are organized, offer special forms for creating new posts, allow users to register, implement a rating system, etc.)

What's the best solution for this?

How come this was closed? Why isn't it constructive? I need to find a specific type of blogware, it's not a general discussion – Roy Apr 15 '12 at 5:49
Hi @Roy - there's no 'best' solution and people will always debate what the best is, so this was closed. For full access to the code, why don't you search for 'open-source blog software', which will return many many suitable options for you. – Ciaran Apr 15 '12 at 14:54
