  We have not gotten rid of ASP.NET Web Forms at all. We added Model Binding, Unobstrusive JavaScript, Web Optimization, Async and more in .NET 4.5 and we have new updates coming next week. Markets change and products change.

  I will not use another other microsoft's new technology or language except asp.net mvc. because microsoft discard its languages again and again and didn't open source it, if microsoft die and didn't open source it, we cann't continue it, like vb6, vf6, vj6, silverlight, winform, asp.net winform... so microsoft always waste all developers's time, so I dislike microsoft's technologies now.
  asp.net mvc is open source and can run on mono, if microsoft die, we can still use it, so I like it.

  Mono for Android and MonoTouch would be great! I know that you can debug MonoTouch stuff, but just being able to compile these project/solutions without having to find an extension that someone made and hack some files around would be great.
