  Hi Vickky,

  It is not very clear to me how you want to backup the database.

  In fact, you can follow this article to backup / restore an Access database:

  If you want to backup database programmatically, I think the easiest way is to make a file copy using File.Copy() method. But it is not related to ADO.NET technology.

  I would recommend using CompactDatabase. It will allow you clean up and compress the database and then save the old copy. Keep in mind that with a Microsoft Access database no other users can be connected to the database during compact or copy procedures.
