Hi Leandro, are you refering to App-V server? Server App-V is a seperate product as a feature of SCVMM2012 and is not the same. It may be an idea to take Server App-V off the article name to avoid confusion. Kind Regards - Ronnie
Hi Ronnie.
Thank you for your comment.
I've noticed the name was wrong (actualy I've translated from Portuguese and I didn't notice that.)
I have made the modifications and now I'm using only "App-V Server".
Cheers.
Leandro.
The list of IIS services that need to be installed is missing IIS Management Scripts and Tools (It is shown in the screenshot though).
Hey Skinner.
When you select to install IIS by default the system select the option "IIS Management Scripts and Tools"
So beyond the default options during the IIS installation, you have to select the components in the list above.

Hi, I don't know if its too late to ask a questions, but when you install the App-V Management Server, it tries to make changes in Active Directory object of the management server, I believe it adds SPN. Is this true and what else does it change or add in Active Directory? Do you have to be Domain Admin to install the server?
thanks
Dejan
Hi Leonardo. Not sure if I broke rules or not. I modified the post a bit by adding
If it's required to point to a different share which is not directly on the APP-V Management server you
can do this by setting the registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Softgrid\4.5\Server\SOFTGRID_CONTENT_DIR
to your content location - Rory Monaghan (Rorymon)
The Application Virtualization Management Server service can be changed to Automatic (Delayed) this
ensure the service will start successfully after a server reboot. Sometimes the service failed to start after
reboot but setting this option starts it a minute or so after reboot ensuring the service can successfully
initiate. - Rory Monahan (Rorymon)
Just thought it might be useful to know. I'm not sure if that was right to do, I assume a WIKI means users can edit. If I did anything wrong or you disagree, by all means remove it.
Thanks,
Rory
Hi Rory.
That's the Wiki Spirit. You can change and modify whatever you want and I'm glad you did. Your modifications are very useful and made a lot of difference. Thanks for your help.
