Every website I have put up has used PHP and I have mostly used java for small desktop applications. That being said, at present I am more capable (more practiced) in java. Basically, does anyone have any experience using PHP or Java in Amazon-EC2? Was the experience good/bad? I suppose the best response would be from someone who used both and has strong feelings one way or the other. I understand that this is sort of an aesthetic question because both languages are quite capable. But if someone can offer up their experience that would be very helpful. Thank you.
