OutputCacheParameters.VaryByParam Property

Gets a semicolon-delimited list of query string or form POST parameters that the output cache uses to vary the cache entry.

public string VaryByParam { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
The list of query string or form POST parameters.

When this property is set to multiple parameters, the output cache contains a different version of the requested document for each specified parameter. Possible values include "none", "*", and any valid query string or POST parameter name.

Supported in: 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
