When you open Windows Internet Explorer, you see an error message about a compatibility issue between Internet Explorer and the HP Smart Web Printing add-on program.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the latest version of HP Smart Web Printing.

HP Smart Web Printing has been replaced by the HP Smart Print tool that works together with the Bing toolbar. HP Smart Print is supported by Internet Explorer 6, by Internet Explorer 7, by Internet Explorer 8, and by Internet Explorer 9.
