Dynamic Virtual Servers replace conventional dedicated or managed hardware, giving businesses efficient, on-demand, scalable Cloud Computing. With virtual servers, SMEs can benefit from enterprise grade security, redundancy and performance with the convenience of a service orientated, elastic model. At the touch of a button you have instant access to an almost limitless pool of computing resources which can be customised to meet specific needs.
Virtual servers look and feel exactly like traditional dedicated servers but, because they’re based on our state-of-the-art cloud computing grid infrastructure, you have instant access to an almost limitless pool of computing resources. As such, changes to your server can be made on the fly, without any of the headaches or cost penalties associated with moving from one server to another. Our virtual servers can be fully integrated with existing networks to behave as a seamless extension of your infrastructure.
Using our IaaS solution brings control, efficiency and transparency to the process of business IT management. Operationally, it means businesses can control exactly the right processing power and space they need in order to run applications, and tune those resources to match changing business requirements, while making the process of auditing server resources more manageable. IaaS removes the burden of paying upfront for over specified hardware that is simply not needed, allowing much greater transparency of where the budget is spent, and where it can be better used. All of this is achievable with absolutely no compromise in security, performance or quality of service.
At the touch of a button you can upgrade your resources to cope with extra load and then downgrade when things slow down, this agility enables you to gain competitive advantage whilst maintaining positive cash flow since you pay on a simple, easy to predict, monthly service fee, without being locked into any long term contracts.
We understand that business demand for cloud resources does not increase in a predictable manner and that customers may require increased resources for a limited period of time due to a project for example. Our platform has been designed with this in mind and resources can be added and removed at a click of a button through our self-service control panel.
We provide a managed disaster recovery service of daily backups retained for 14 days for your piece of mind, but you can also maintain your own backup schedules using our online backup system.
We have started seeing a significant demand for more complex virtual server environments as well as increased desire from Partners and businesses alike to have more visibility and control over the infrastructure.
To help address this, we have engineered a new IAAS offering – Virtual Data Centre model, for medium to large type environments, that gives Partners and businesses greater control and visibility over how their environment behaves and is configured. We have adapted the consumption model to accommodate higher granularity than before.
Businesses can purchase a virtual data centre shell that consists of the minimum required block of IP addresses and login. Within this environment you can create resources – virtual servers, firewalls, VLan’s, virtual disks, operating system templates – and only be charged for usage after resources are allocated and active. The resources are considered “units” and are charged hourly.
Our user-friendly interface allows Partners and businesses to define and build prefabricated environments, consisting of servers, disks, operating system images, firewall, VLan; by making use of a graphical, easy to use drag-and-drop feature. Robust, flexible environments can be design to ensure they meet specific business needs.
Our Virtual Server Infrastructure has been constructed to meet the most stringent security requirements:
