As an industry leading technology provider in the investment management space, ClearStructure Financial Technology provides both software and support to some of the largest and most well-respected financial institutions in the world. The ability to stay connected to its clients is fundamental to its business, and in particular for its web-based software solutions. So, with ClearStructure relocating to new offices in London, it needed to establish reliable, dedicated Internet access to ensure seamless business operations, and fast.

Business Opportunity
With the Internet core to its day-to-day business, when ClearStructure Financial Technology relocated its London o ce, it needed to guarantee a smooth transition to its new network, with assertions that there would be no reduction in connectivity, to ensure service levels were maintained. Delivery on schedule was of the highest importance, with strict timelines and SLAs in place. Colt was able to deliver a new IP Access solution with high speed, high-bandwidth connectivity to support ClearStructure’s voice and data requirements, with a direct connection into Colt’s own network to guarantee the highest levels of service quality. A number of challenges had to be overcome due to a major public event in the area and the resulting security operation, including road closures which placed restrictions on when the new office could physically be connected to the network. Despite this, Colt was able to deliver the new solution to the highest standards through stringent due diligence and close collaboration with its partners and ClearStructure to ensure deadlines were met and alternatives found so that all the systems were in place to guarantee service from the first day in the new location. The new system was in place within just over a month of the order being received.

Results
ClearStructure was able to seamlessly make the move from its previous location to current o ces in London. The superior performance of Colt’s IP Access Solution has led to increased e ciency by enabling increased levels of voice and data traffic and reducing network congestion.
