Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SR1)

This release contains sample code for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 for PCU1.

For many of these samples you will also need to download the AdventureWorks family of databases.

After SQL Server 2012 Sample Databases download Remember to rename the downloaded file named Release.mdf to the respective database name e.g. AventureWorksDW2012_data.mdf

There is no support for x86. I am running Windows 7 32 bit and all the installer tells me is that it is not supported on my CPU. Where is the 32 bit version?

The data in the samples seem to be outdated. The date ranges in the Samples\Integration Services\Tutorial\Creating a Simple ETL Package\Sample Data\ folders range from 2001 to 2004. The date ranges in the DimDate table (installed with AdventureWorks2008R2_SR1.exe) range from 2005 to 2010. This makes it a mission to complete some of the SSIS tutorials.
