The CodePlex team added syntax highlighting to our markdown editor. Now, if you specify the language of a codeblock, the appropriate highlighting will be applied as seen below:

 

The supported languages are:

  • XML
  • Java
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • SQL
  • C#
  • VB.NET
  • ASPX (C#)
  • ASPX (VB.NET)
  • C++
  • PHP
  • PowerShell

Additionally, we have made the following improvements:
  • Added typescript syntax highlighting to our source browser! Now any file with a .ts extension will be highlighted appropriately.
  • Increased the release note size to 10,000 characters
  • Fixed issues with the daily digest emails
