I want to install Arch Linux on my external HDD for work with encryption and, while doing that, I want to add systemrescuecd to /boot partition so that I can boot into rescue live distros like systemrescuecd etc..

By doing this would I jeopardise the security of my Arch Linux system? should I encrypt my boot partition too?
