createAndPromote.php is a MediaWiki script that creates a new user and auto-promotes them to sysop and/or bureaucrat status. There is also an option to promote a user who already exists. You may need to create AdminSettings.php.

Usage

Option/Parameter	Description
--help	Display help information for the script.
--bureaucrat	Add the account to the bureaucrat group
--sysop	Add the account to the sysop group
--bot (since 1.22)	Add the account to the bot group
--force	If account exists already, just grant it rights or change password.
<username>	The name of the user you want to create or promote. The --force flag is required if user with this name already exists.
<password>	The password for the user. Not required if --force is used.
