I published/overlay my layers in openlayers from geoserver as wms. Now I want to add/create vector layers on those layer either point/line or polygon, if it is line/polygon I need to display length/area of the feature respectively. Is it possible?, Then how can i?

What have you tried so far? Have you looked at this sample: openlayers.org/dev/examples/draw-feature.html Once you have the drawn shape, you could use code similar to this: gis.stackexchange.com/questions/59183/… to get the area/length. – Devdatta Tengshe May 7 at 6:50
