We've completely streamlined the look of paper.li, making our site more mobile-device-friendly and implementing slide navigation accessible from your paper's front page.
If you're a publisher who has been with us for some time, you are most likely very familiar with the old menu and settings. Our new side-menus might require some extra exploring on your part. But once you've found your way around, we're confident you'll find the new menus cleaner and easier to navigate across devices, with easy access to the help articles you need -- just a click away.

Pro publishers: see no icon at all at the top of your paper? If you have your custom header turned ON, don't forget you will need to press ESC on your keyboard (as you did before) to view your menu! |
New paper.li layout: our clean new look!
Attention Pro Publishers!*
On March 4, all papers will show the new navigation menus but Pro papers won't immediately see the new changes to their paper layout. Why? Because although we've done our best to ensure that the new layout will have minimal impact to Pro users who have customized their papers, it is possible that our changes may require publishers to modify their CSS or any other customizations.
With that in mind, we've given Pro users a 30 day head-start to fix any issues they see before we "flip the switch" and change all papers, both Pro and basic, to the new layout on April 4.
If you're a publisher of a Pro paper, you can preview how your paper will look with the new layout, offline. If after viewing your paper in "preview mode", you are satisfied with the new layout and want to make the switch immediately, you can manually switch to the new layout.
If however, after previewing your paper in the new layout, you see customizations that need modification, you can make changes offline and manually switch to the new layout up to the April 4 deadline.
On April 4, all papers will be switched to the new layout.
Previewing your Pro paper (without custom domain)
From your Paper Settings Dashboard, click Layout & appearance, then Look & feel.
Previewing your Pro paper (with custom domain)
From your Paper Settings Dashboard, click Layout & appearance, then Look & feel, then Switch to new look and feel.
* The above applies only to Pro publishers with Pro papers started prior to the launch on March 4. On April 4, all Pro papers will be switched to the new layout.
