The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets creates opportunities and options for businesses and consumers alike: opportunities through innovation, new products, services and businesses, and options because therein lies the key to having well-functioning markets.
Our organization
The Netherlands Consumer Authority, the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa) and the Netherlands Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA) joined forces on April 1st 2013, creating a new regulator: the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets.
Cooperation
The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets cooperates with other regulators and organizations that can help us carry out our duties. We cooperate with others both at a national level as well as at an international level.
