Adding a background image or color is an easy way to give your paper some pizazz and visual flair! 

Add a background image

• From your Paper Settings Dashboard, click Layout & appearance, Look & feel, then Paper background to upload an image.

• Click  to upload your image.  

• In your settings, you will also be able to choose whether or not to tile the image and how to align (right, left, center).

• See our summary of recommended sizes.

• You must own the copyright or have the necessary rights for any content you upload.

Add the background color

You can also choose a color for your background from your Paper Settings Dashboard.  Click Layout & appearance, Look & feel, then Background color to change your color.
