Namecheap Domain Instructions

This article contains instructions on how to configure your domain to about.me

First, login to your namecheap account (https://www.namecheap.com/myaccount/login-only.aspx)

Next, click Manage Domains. 

Now click the domain you'd like to configure to about.me. 

On the left side, click "All Host Records". 

Next, copy/paste 54.214.5.242 into the first row in the "IP Address/URL" column and set the "Record Type" to A (Address). 

*Note: For mapping to a subdomain, do not add an A Record.

In the second row, input "about.me" in the "IP Address/URL" column and set the Record Type to CNAME (Alias). 

*Note: For mapping a subdomain, add a CNAME record in which 'www' is replaced by your subdomain. 

Now scroll down and click the Save Changes button.
