We do not ship our doughnuts because we cannot ensure the freshness and quality of the product after it has been shipped. We would not want our customers to receive inferior doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme uses a shortening blend that has zero grams of trans fat per serving and is formulated to preserve the great Krispy Kreme taste our consumers have come to expect.

Ingredient Information: The only animal by-products used in our doughnuts are eggs (whites and yolks) and dairy products (including milk, butter, yogurt, whey, nonfat milk and nonfat whey). We use vegetable shortening (palm, soybean, and/or cottonseed and canola oil) for zero gram of trans fat per one serving of doughnut. All monoglycerides and diglycerides are vegetable based. Enzymes are also present. The lecithin we use is soy-based. We also use wheat in our doughnuts, including bran, germ, gluten, starch and flour. All of our doughnuts are ingredient Kosher. Our mix plant in Winston-Salem, NC where the mix is made is certified Kosher. In addition, some of our stores, but not all, have been certified Kosher. Krispy Kreme is committed to being a strong corporate partner in the communities we serve as we seek to "touch and enhance lives through the joy that is Krispy Kreme". We recognize the growing social and environmental concerns over palm oil production, and as such, we are working to minimize its use in our products around the world.

Our efforts to do so began in January 2014 with a commitment to only source products for our US locations from suppliers who are certified members of the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), and those who can guarantee compliance with all sustainable palm oil production methods as defined in the RSPO guidelines.

Additionally, Krispy Kreme has committed to purchase enough GreenPalm certificates to cover 100% of its estimated usage of palm oil in the United States by the end of 2015, and we are working with GreenPalm and our international partners on similar initiatives.
