You can see in the given example, we have created an instance of Array consisting of elements 'Innova', 'Nano', 'BMW', 'Accord', 'Chevrolet Spark'. If you want to display the value of a particular element of an array, you have to refer the name of the array and the index number. Then, it will access the array and display the value of the specified index number.
Here is the code:
<html> <head> <h2>Access Array In JavaScript</h2> <script> var cars=new Array(5); cars[0]="Innova"; cars[1]="Nano"; cars[2]="BMW"; cars[3]="Accord"; cars[4]="Chevrolet Spark"; document.write("<b>On referring the array with index number, their values have been displayed:</b><br>"); document.write(cars[0]+"<br>"); document.write(cars[4]); </script> </head> <body bgcolor="lightBlue"/> </html> |
Output will be displayed as:
