Conversion error in SQL Server business objects

While working with business objects in SQL Server I am getting the error "conversion of char data type to datetime data type resulted in an out of range datetime value." What is the problem?

While working with business objects in SQL Server I am getting the error "conversion of char data type to datetime data type resulted in an out of range datetime value."

Either regional settings on the system are incorrect, or the value in the text string is not a valid date/time value.
