Because I am from Myanmar and downloading 5GB is a big deal for me( internet bill is really expensive ). – Sai Pone Tha Aung Oct 29 at 9:15

It should run ok. I run it just fine on a MacBook Pro with 750M and 16 GiB RAM on Windows 10. However, my machine has i7 so maybe lightmap baking will be slower on your machine.

That's interesting. I have an late 2013 iMac and am seeing 150% CPU use in the editor even when idle. I was considering getting a PC for development, but am wondering if Bootcamping Windows 10 will solve the issue (UE4 is reputedly better on Windows than Mac). Can you shed some light on these thoughts please? – trojanfoe Oct 29 at 10:10

I disabled some postprocessing effects because they caused the fan to be active. Haven't tried on OS X but I have heard that it's faster on Windows. – SurvivalMachine Oct 29 at 10:13

Ah so even running Windows you have to take steps getting it running OK? – trojanfoe Oct 29 at 10:15

It isn't slow with effects enabled, I just don't like the fan noise. – SurvivalMachine Oct 29 at 11:15

Yeah; I don't like it using 150% CPU when Unity only uses 25% when idle. I think a PC might be in order... thanks for the chat. – trojanfoe Oct 29 at 11:19
