    Wow, VS Code REALLY wants me to use TypeScript. I like Flow and I don't have energy to investigate if I should use TypeScript instead. I honestly don't think that this division is healthy for the community.

    I think this is one of the biggest misunderstandings about React. It would be great to highlight this pattern more. Note how by making <Nav> and <Body> accept any elements as children, I removed the need to pass the "user" prop down through them.

    Possibly unpopular opinion re this chart you're all sharing: A lot of what gets branded as mansplaining is just men trying to share enthusiasm or make conversation, and should be treated as the well-meaning clumsiness it is.

    I wish had a social section in repos where only maintainers can say stuff related to the project and other people can react to those posts. A place where maintainers can vent a little and give a sense of what they are working on. I think that would be awesome.

    I'm annoyed by how Sketch manages it licenses. I stopped paying for it and now I have a bunch of Sketch files I can't open because they were edited with a newer version of Sketch. Why didn't I get a permanent access to that version?

    If you strip away the toxicity from masculinity, I don't think there's much left. What do you use the term "masculine" for and what does it mean for you?

    A friendly reminder: toxic masculinity is masculinity that is toxic. Toxic masculinity does not mean all masculinity is toxic. This is important for cis men to understand, but also important for people to understand that trans men aren't toxic for wanting to be masculine.

    How about syntax highlighting? That would give a feeling that MDX is official, so let's do that. VS Code recommends adding a TextMate's .tmLanguage file, but docs for that are pretty spotty. It also needs to be converted to XML and it's a whole thing.

    Lastly, I found out that MDX doesn't support comments, which turned out to be really easy to implement (PR coming soon). It's going to be a small win, but a win nevertheless.

    It doesn't seem like Jim consulted many people on the other end. I asked a friend who had sucked both and she wasn't swept away by the glory of circumcised dicks. Each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

    Watching latest comedy special with Jim Jeffries on Netflix and got curious about his views on circumcision. He calls foreskin "extra skin". What's so extra about a skin you were born with? In both cases just take a shower before sex and you're honestly good to go.
