Only importing the parts of aws-sdk that you need (e.g. 'aws-sdk/clients/dynamodb') shakes out all the AWS services you're not using. Same with common libs like lodash.

Beyond that, AWS have done quite a lot to improve cold start times. It's really just bundle size you need to worry about these days.
